Contact Laura to learn about volunteer opportunities as well as our Always United retiree group, Grow United ag group, Youth United, and more. Let us know if you’re interested in literacy projects such as our Books for Kids program or school deliveries!
3. Purchase “The Kindness Booth” Book
This makes a great Christmas or special occasion gift! Stop by our United Way office and purchase your copy for $20. You can also have the author Laura sign and personalize the book. Visit our book webpage for more information about this project and to download the free activity kit.
4. Homelessness Awareness Soup Social on Nov. 20
Join us at Salvation Army from 5-7 p.m. to hear from homeless shelter leaders. Register here.
5. Tickets Available Now for Christmas in the Sky on December 19
Join us for this magical evening at Sky One Eleven event space. Enjoy a social followed by a concert of wonderful local musicians, produced by Nick Wayne & Garrett Steinberg. Proceeds benefit Greater Mankato Area United Way. Purchase tickets here.

Visit this collaborative resource hub for parents and caregivers, hosted through the MNSU Center for Rural Behavior Health website.
8. Purchase a Raffle Ticket
Visit our website to learn all about the 2025 Fire & Ice Raffle! Cash/check only. Grand prize is a 2025 Can-Am Defender side-by-side donated by Mankato Motorsports. 9. Join Us for the Free Reading Festival on November 15
