CADA is an organization that provides free, confidential and non-judgmental services to victims and survivors of relationship abuse and sexual violence. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and our communities must know that there is help at CADA!

Advocates at CADA are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

CADA provides life-saving and life-changing services to survivors throughout the nine-county region, including the counties Greater Mankato Area United Way supports. At CADA, survivors can access an array of programs and services, including emergency safety shelter for women and children, advocates throughout the region, supervised parenting time and exchange centers, and education programs. CADA has advocates in Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca and Watonwan Counties.

Last year, with the help of donors from Greater Mankato Area United Way, CADA was able to provide 164 free sessions of therapy to individuals who experienced sexual violence or relationship abuse. In total, CADA provided services to 1,971 individuals in 2021. Each year, CADA serves between 1,500 and 3,000 individuals in our region. Relationship abuse and sexual violence are real issues impacting many lives in our community.
