Ophthalmology Associates Hosts Trike-Race Fundraiser Benefiting United Way: June 12
Community invited to enjoy races, games, music, prizes at Trike-A-Palooza
MANKATO—Community members are invited to a trike-race fundraising event this Saturday, hosted by Ophthalmology Associates to benefit Greater Mankato Area United Way.
Trike-A-Palooza takes place 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at the Ophthalmology Associates parking lot (1630 Adams St, Mankato).
Trike teams led by the Ophthalmology Associates eye doctors will compete in various races throughout the morning on a racetrack in the Ophthalmology parking lot.
Free admission. The event includes children’s games (for $1) and food while supplies last. Music provided by Radio Mankato.
Prize drawings for $5 and $10 per chance. Prize packages donated by community members and local businesses are valued up to $300, including a Kindle Fire, golfing basket, date night basket, gift cards and more.
Ophthalmology Associates staff is organizing the fundraiser with all proceeds going to United Way. The Ophthalmology doctors have been raising donations for United Way; the top team will gain advantages during the races.
Sponsors include C&S Supply, Exclusively Diamonds, The Free Press Media, FUN.com, Hy-Vee, Mankato MoonDogs, MN Valley Federal Credit Union, Ophthalmology Associates, Radio Mankato and Sign Pro of Mankato.
