MANKATO—Greater Mankato Area United Way still has a limited number of team slots available for its second annual Human Foosball Tournament & Block Party taking place noon to 5 p.m. July 16 on the 500 block of South Front Street.
This year, the tournament has expanded from three to four life-size courts. Community members are invited to the free block party event to enjoy the foosball games, kids’ activities, music and food.
Team registration is $600. Minimum of six players per team; players must be 18 years of age or older. Teams can register by visiting Greater Mankato Area United Way’s website: MankatoUnitedWay.org/human-foosball.
Volunteer opportunities available. Proceeds benefit the partner agencies of Greater Mankato Area United Way, which serves Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties.
