United Way Kicks Off Campaign at Gustavus

ST. PETER—United Way will kick off its 2017 campaign at 3 p.m. on September 16 at Gustavus Adolphus College: Beck Academic Hall in the Torrey Atrium.


The event will include a welcome by President Bergman and a presentation by United Way CEO Barb Kaus. There will also be a paper airplane contest and prizes.


“This region’s generosity makes a true difference in the lives of individuals and families,” said Kaus. “We are grateful to have such a strong partnership with Gustavus and the wider St. Peter area and are looking forward to kicking off this campaign season together.”


United Way’s 2017 campaign goal is $2,000,000. United Way is serving approximately 2,680 St. Peter residents through 43 programs within 30 agencies.
