United Way Holding Follow-Up Forum on Sexual Exploitation on December 6

MANKATO—As part of its “Cultivating Change” community forum series, United Way will hold a forum called Cultivating Change: Questions & Answers about Youth Sexual Exploitation at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6 at the Mankato West High School auditorium.

This informational event is free and open to the public and recommended for ages 12 and older. The event is a follow-up to the October forum spotlighting the issue of sexual exploitation in our region.

The December 6th forum will feature a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation, who will share her story. It will also feature a panel of local representatives from organizations including The Reach, CADA, Blue Earth and Nicollet counties, and the Southwest Crisis Center. The panel will address community questions in a question-and-answer format.

Community members are invited to submit questions at MankatoUnitedWay.org/forum-questions.

One of the goals of United Way is to convene the community. By identifying community issues and facilitating action around them, United Way aims to build a better tomorrow for all ages in our region.
