MANKATO—The public is invited to enjoy fun and foosball during Greater Mankato Area United Way’s third annual Human Foosball Tournament & Block Party this Saturday.
This year’s thirty-two team tournament takes place Saturday, July 15 from 12 to 5 p.m. on the 500 block of South Front Street. The street will be blocked off between Cherry and Warren to make room for four life-sized foosball courts.
Some teams are looking for additional subs. Please call the United Way office if you are interested in playing for free! Must be age 16 or older.
Community members of all ages are invited to the free block party to enjoy the foosball games and music by Radio Mankato.
Join us just before the noon start time for the national anthem sung by Miss Mankato’s Outstanding Teen 2017 Lauren Senden, with the Twin Valley Council Boy Scouts color guard.
Proceeds benefit the partner agencies of Greater Mankato Area United Way, which serves Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties.
