At the Heart of our Campaign are the individuals who give so generously at the leadership level, our Heart Club. Each year, this special group of donors numbers more than 900 individuals who contribute over $630,000 to our United Way; that’s over 1/3 of all the money we raise! The power of just one $500 Heart Club gift provides:
Heart Club Levels:
Individuals who contribute to Greater Mankato Area United Way at the following giving levels are recognized as Heart Club Members: Golden Heart ($500-$749) Golden Heart Plus ($750-$999) Grand Heart ($1,000-$1,499) Grand Heart Plus ($1,500-$1,999) Heart of a Leader Bronze ($2,000-$3,499) Heart of a Leader Silver ($3,500-$4,999) Heart of a Leader Platinum ($5,000-$9,999) Tocqueville Society ($10,000+) Combined Gifts with Spouse: Couples may combine their gifts to reach a higher level in the Heart Club and be recognized under both respective employers in the Leaders in Giving Booklet. Heart Club Recognition:
Heart Club donors are listed in our annual Leaders in Giving booklet under their respective employers, but of course we will honor anyone’s request who wishes to remain anonymous for their donation. As recognition and thank you for their generosity, United Way awards donors who gives $500 with a Heart Club wall plaque. The wall plaque also serves as an easy tool for Heart Club members to advocate their support of United Way. The Rising Heart Club: We are excited to announce this new club, recognizing individuals who give a gift of at least $250 this year, and who commit to increase their gift by $1/week over the next 5 years in order to reach the Heart Club level. Rising Heart Club members will be listed in our 2012 leadership giving book under this new category. |
