Provides access to mental health services for people who are uninsured or under-insured and have low incomes.

Open Door Health Center - Medical / Dental / Behavioral Health Care

Provides affordable medical, dental and behavioral health services to low-income, uninsured and under-insured patients.


Greater Mankato Area United Way Increases Healthy Behaviors

The cost of poor health to society includes higher emergency room costs not covered by insurance, lower academic achievement and increased need of social services.

Provides members scholarships to make Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center a place where everyone is welcomed, regardless of their financial situation.

Achieving Dreams for Disabilities

Provides programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Arc of MN Southwest - Self-advocacy

Seeks to help people with developmental disabilities acquire leadership skills, identify issues and needs in the community, and address and act on those needs, as well as volunteer and participate in their community.

Catholic Charities - Common Good RSVP

Provides individuals age 55 and better with volunteer opportunities to meet the needs in the community.

Cedar Valley Services - SMART Senior Transportation

Provides senior transportation services to anyone over age 60 in Waseca County.

Gustavus Adolphus College - Gustie Buddies

Provides a safe environment for youth with developmental delays from St. Peter and the surrounding communitieis to strengthen personal skills, increase self-confidence, and build relationships.

Leisure Education for Exceptional People (LEEP) - Recreation

Provides recreational and leisure opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in the Greater Mankato area so that they might achieve optimal levels of socialization and independence in the community. 

Lutheran Social Services - Senior Nutrition

Provides adults ages 60+ nutritionally-balance meals with the intent to maintain or improve their independence and mental and physical health while preventing costly premature institutionalized care.

Nicollet County - Senior Transportation

Supports independence of Senior Citizens in our community by providing rides to needed services (ie medical appointments, grocery shopping, personal business).

Southern MN Independent Living Enterprises & Services (SMILES) - Assistive Technology

Offers various technology services which assist people with disabilities, family members and service providers to identify helpful assistive technology devices and resources, as well as learning to use them in an effective manner to maximize their independence and integrate them into the community.

Southern MN Independent Living Enterprises & Services (SMILES) - Recreation

Provides people with disabilities a chance to participate in recreational activities that are adapted to accommodate a wide variety of disabilities. 

VINE Faith in Action - Adult Community Center

Provides programming for adults that addresses the six areas of healthy aging defined by the National Wellness Institute and incorporates numerous existing VINE programs, such as exercise and caregiver support.  

VINE Faith in Action - Volunteer Caregiving

Assists older adults and people with disabilities, long-term health needs or difficult life situations. Volunteers provide help with transportation, chores, caregiver support services and friendly visits to promote independence and quality of life.

Waseca Area Senior Citizens Center 

Provides programming that promotes independence, dignity, self-worth, personal growth, enjoyment, and a sense of contribution to society.
