Glen Taylor to Speak to United Way’s Emerging Leaders Group

NORTH MANKATO—Glen Taylor will be speaking to United Way’s Emerging Leaders United group at 4 p.m. on October 12 at Taylor Technology Center (1730 James Dr, North Mankato).


Taylor will share about his life and offer the opportunity for questions.


The event is part of the United Way Tocqueville Speaker Series offered to the Emerging Leaders group, which has featured United Way’s top community donors throughout the year.


About Emerging Leaders United:

An Emerging Leader is anyone under 40 years of age who gives an individual annual gift of at least $250 to our United Way OR a combined spousal gift of at least $500. The Emerging Leaders have various opportunities throughout the year that focus on service, community engagement and philanthropy.


About Glen Taylor:

As a Greater Mankato Area United Way board member from 1976-78 and campaign chair in 1980, Glen has been an avid supporter of Greater Mankato Area United Way. Glen has been a member of the Heart Club since its inception in 1990, and joined the Tocqueville Society (givers of $10,000+) in 2009. In addition to supporting United Way, Glen has been involved in various organizations in the community and generously supports several area nonprofits.
