Studies show that cost and lack of awareness are reasons some children aren’t able to join the numerous activities available to them across the Greater Mankato area. Connecting Kids ensures every child has the same opportunity for getting involved in extra-curricular activities.
The goals of the Connecting Kids Program are to:
- Educate parents and guardians of the opportunities in our community to get kids involved
- Provide financial resources to the households that need them so that more children can get connected to youth development programs.
