    Welcome Inn-

    Provides emergency shelter and short-term housing for homeless and very low-income individuals and families. The goal of this program is to provide a stable environment during a time of stress.

    ·         42% of shelter guests are 12 and younger

    ·         67% of households are moved to transitional housing after leaving the shelter, and are connected to support in order to work on their goals, aimed at increasing self-sufficiency, locating permanent housing, and preventing future episodes of homelessness

    ·         Welcome Inn currently has 360 clients on a waiting list to receive services

     

    Welcome Home- Provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless and very low-income families for up to 24 months.  This program intends to increase the self-sufficiency of participants according to their needs and abilities. 

    ·         Participants pay up to 30% of their monthly income towards their rent of a Partners apartment and therefore are assured a safe place to live

    ·         In 2009, Welcome Home helped 30 people secure 12 places to call home
