    Books for Kids - Aims to instill the joy of reading in children and intends to increase the bond between caregiver or parent and child as they read together.

    ·         Books for Kids mailed over 31,940 free books to families in 2009

    ·         The majority of survey respondents report they are reading more to their children, are experiencing increased awareness of the importance of reading, and are using pieces of information provided by the program
