Volunteer Opportunities for Seniors- Coordinators work with partnering agencies and volunteers to determine the needs of the community and provide volunteers with the opportunities to make a difference in the community. This program engages individuals age 55 and older in meaningful volunteer activities that help meet community needs and enrich their lives.

·         78 RSVP volunteers provided 4,865 hours of tutoring, reading assistance and writing assistance to students at 17 greater Mankato area elementary schools (worth $102,943)

·         97 RSVP volunteers have provided 5,128 hours of services to 9 greater Mankato area non-profits which provide food to low-income community members (worth $108, 508)

·         RSVP volunteers provided over 60,871 volunteers hours in 2009 (worth $1,288,030)
